Video: Cleveland Indians Bring ‘Snow Days’ to Progressive Field

The Cleveland Indians have created a first-of-its-kind winter wonderland at Progressive Field. Friday kicked-off “Snopening Day” as the Indians transformed the normally dormant stadium into a land complete with a 10-lane snow tubing hill on top of the bleachers (aka The Batterhorn); a 1/4 skating path around the outfield; an ice-skating rink; and a walking trail through the outfield featuring winter lights and a 3,000 square foot snow maze. What a great idea! Based on the early feedback, the idea is a hit! Snow Days continues until Jan. 2. A complete schedule can be found here. Hopefully more stadiums will follow suit.
