The New York Yankees walked off with a dramatic 10th inning victory over the Boston Red Sox Sunday night. The 4-3 win not only reduced the Bronx Bombers’ magic number to reach the playoffs to one, but also allowed shortstop Derek Jeter (1,377) to pass Mickey Mantle (1,376) for the most regular-season wins in Pinstripes. Jeter has appeared in 2,290 games as a Yank, 111 less than Mantle. Jeter went 0-4, but received an intentional pass in the bottom of the 10th frame.
