Bronx, Bombers! Yanks Smack 6 HRs Against Red Sox in LOSS!

The New York Yankees slid out of first place in the AL East after losing to their hated-rivals, the Boston Red Sox, 10-7. Even though they hit six dingers against the BoSox, the Yanks dropped their third straight game Friday night at New Yankee Stadium. This is the fourth time since 1920 that the Yankees have smacked that many homers in a game against the Red Sox and the first since 2002. This is the only game they lost and it may prove costly as the dropped a 1/2 games behind the Tampa Bay Rays.
