Iowa Cubs manager Ryne Sandberg was named the Pacific Coast League‘s 2010 manager of the year. Ryno in his first season as a Triple A manager, has sent eight players from Iowa to parent Chicago Cubs. Of course, some of that is due to the fact that the Cubs tanked this season. On the plus side, the I-Cubs are currently tied for first place (80-60) in the American Conference Northern Division with the Memphis Redbirds. Congrats to the Cubs’ Hall of Fame second baseman! Hope we see you in the Big Leagues soon.
