Even though Matt Clark ranks second in the Texas League with 27 homers and is tied for first with 95 RBI, he was not selected to the Texas League Postseason All-Star Team. Really? I’d like to know what criteria the league uses for choosing its stars. Saturday night the 23 year-old San Antonio Missions first baseman completed the cycle when he hit a two-run dinger in the 10th inning pacing the San Diego Padres AA-Team to a 7-6 victory over the Corpus Christi Hooks.
